Energetic Tools for the Family
- For some children, this leads to being overly excitable, having meltdowns, and feeling anxious.
- Other children may respond by avoiding and withdrawing and becoming resistant.
- Still others become peacemakers to try to quiet the storm around them. They are so attuned to and affected by other people's emotions and energy that they will focus on others before themselves in an attempt to feel safe.
About the Class
This class is designed for children ages 5-12.
We find the best results come when everyone in the family understands the concepts and tools that are taught, so at least one parent or caregiver must attend with their child. If the whole family/household
wants to attend, even better!
You will learn:
• How anxiety and overwhelm affect your energy body.
• How to be "grounded" and why it is so important.
• Why meltdowns and anxious feelings happen and that there's nothing wrong with your emotions and feelings.
• Tools to work with the energy system and the nervous system to reduce "meltdowns" and improve sleep.
• Why cues of safety are paramount to managing nervous system states and how to use them to calm the mind and emotions.
The Sensitive Kids Class Includes:
- Two 60-minute live, online sessions for the whole family on Zoom. Recordings will be available.

How the Course Works
When You Register
When you register, you'll have immediate access to the Start Here section in Teachable, which includes important information for the class, and the Pre-Class Information for Parents.
Second Live Online Class
We will meet again on the same Zoom link. Our time will be spent learning more fun practices and we'll have time for Q&A. We will also discuss ways to best integrate all you have learned into your daily life.
First Live Online Class
Meet on Zoom for our first live class. We will learn about how our nervous system affects how we feel and behave, and learn easy, simple practices to create more calm, resilience, and capacity.
Review Videos & Audios
After the live classes, you will have access to the rest of the lessons on Teachable which include videos or audios of ALL of the practices taught in the class. You can practice right along with us anytime you want!
